Greg Needham, Senior ShoreTel Support Engineer, joins IPC’s engineering team to deliver support from the central region.

RICHMOND, Va. — October 15, 2013 — IPC Technologies has expanded the geographic footprint of its support services with the launch of a Customer Success Center in Austin, Texas. The new facility joins IPC’s Customer Success Centers in Richmond, Va., and Seattle, Wash., providing enhanced coverage in the central U.S.

“As we continue to grow, it is critical that we provide nationwide support to our customers in a ‘follow-the-sun’ model,” said Jeff Andrews, Executive Vice President, IPC Technologies. “With well-established Customer Success Centers on the east and west coasts, we saw an opportunity to expand our support team into the central region. We considered various cities and determined that Austin provided an ideal location, both geographically and in terms of access to top-notch IT talent.”

Greg Needham will head up IPC’s Austin Customer Success Center, bringing more than a decade of industry experience and significant expertise in ShoreTel solutions. Greg joins IPC from ShoreTel, where he served as Technical Support Engineer for more than five years. Prior to ShoreTel, Greg worked for Dell, where he served on the Global Server Support team.

“Greg is a tremendous asset to our team,” Andrews said. “He has extensive experience troubleshooting ShoreTel systems, particularly ShoreTel’s contact center and conferencing solutions.
